... I think that it may be an error caused by OS X here (if it says that it's an OS X problem, then that's probably what it is, right?). I figure though that it's too troublesome to reinstall OS X, huh? Well, next time you format, make sure you've put the film in a data-disk, so that you can try burning a DVD out of it then.
