How to change audio files to play in Limewire

I have 8 CD-Rs that span over 100 tracks. The songs were all if not most downloaded off of Kazaa Lite AWHILE back.

Right now, I'm copying the tracks from Windows Media Player to the "My Music" folder then bringing them to the "Shared" folder for LW.

The problem is that I want the songs to be played in Limewire and not the default player (WM). It's kind of annoying waiting for WM to open up. Is there anyway I can change the that?

I tried a random audio to mp3 thingamajigs but my CD's wouldn't even get read by the program...

Go to your LW menu Tools-Options & Player & tick the use LW media player. Press both the Apply & OK buttons. If these files have been saved as wma files I'm not sure how much support LW's media player has for playing them. Somebody else might be able to chip in here with advice about that.
