I see no poll and nothing about Limewire... why "limewire poll"???

I prefer Windows 2000.

Follow Morgwen's comment...

Use Windows 2000 Pro...

You will have far fewer problems with it and YOU will have far more control...

XP is a disaster... always has been... and the XP Service Pack 2 debacle is another Micro$haft joke.

Windows 2000 pro
And use as little Microsoft software as possible.
EG:
No mediaplayer.
No internet explorer.
No defragger.

Other vendors do a better job.
And yes I know, probably also on the OS but Windows is easy.

Hehehe I love to hate Micro$oft :D

I use windoze xp only for program compadability reasons. Although you should add UNIX, Mac and Linux to your list of OS's. I've played a little with some of the bootable flavors of Linux, never used Gentoo, Red Hat, SuSE, Mandrake or anything like that.

I have Windows XP sp2 and I haven't had any trouble with it so far. I upgraded my OLD system to this OS about 2 months ago though, so we'll see.

Mac OSX users seem to have the least problems & OS9 users even less still. Go mac! Get a mac & most your probs will be solved & hey, no viruses & no firewalls needed. :D

Windows 98 uses the less resources, but its updates may cease appearing soon.
