WHAT application, or program, or player or whatever are you using to 'view' the file(s) ?

And while we have your attention...
What do you know about Codecs ?

Last... You will see that I have 'moved' your post to a more suitable forum...

I am sure you will get more help--- and faster--- here...

;)

I've got several different players on my comp. All i know is that when i initially downloaded limeware and started using it that the video launched when i hit the launch button.. even in the process of downloading it. Now the audio files are the only ones that launch.

Oh dear oh dear! lol ;) Everytime you preview a file, it creates a preview file that's stored in the Incomplete folder. 'Remember', once a file has 100% completed dwnlding LW 'moves it' from the incomplete folder to the LW dwnld folder. To know where this is, go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Saving & this will tell you the name, location & path of this folder. Now yo can use your OS search engine to locate that folder. Good idea to make a shortcut & put it somewhere easy to access such as on the desktop or in Explorer. 'Also', if you share your LW dwnld folder it will be displayed in the LW LIbrary window along with the incomplete folder & any other share folders you have. To add this to your shared folders list go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Sharing & press the Add button. Now direct it to where your LW dwnld folder is. Select, press Apply & OK. Go to your LW Library window & press the Refresh button & you'll see all the dwnlded items in that folder in the Lib window.

By the way, Preview files usually start with they prefix of Preview. So later after finishing dwnlding the file you can delete these from your incomplete folder (BUT be careful you delete the correct files.)

I don't have any problem locating the video files. The problem is my launch button never launches any video. i have to import into real or windows media player to get them to work. I'd like to be
able to hit the launch button while the video is downloading and preview it. the mp3's work just fine, no problem previewing them i just want to be able to do the same with the videos.
THANKS ALOT :):)

LW's media player is only an audio player. It does not play video. So when you preview a video file your default video player for that format will open & play it. Have you set your defaults for the different formats so when you double-click them fromthe desktop the appropriate vdeo player opens? Highlight a video file on the desktop, go to File > Properties & Open with... After setting all the different defalts for wmv, mpeg, avi, etc. then you won't have any problems launching.
