It depends on your OS. So, which one is yours?

You can burn them onto a CD with applications like nero so that the content shows up on the CD.
If you dlded a game for an old console to play on your PC, you need an emulator like Mame.
Of course, there are tools that allow you to use such filetypes like .bin and .iso directly without having to burn them onto a CD. One such is Daemon
But all that is assuming you have Windows...

The OS (short for Operating System) has a great deal to do with this. Microsoft OSes (read "Windows") and Apple OSes (read "Mac OS X or OS 9x) are very very different. For example, Macs don't read .exe which means that programs that work on Windows won't work on Macs (unless you have VPC, but this consumes too much CPU and RAM, plus it can't run everything).

Agh! Did you have to mention the title?

Did you try burning the thing on CD?

The extension bin can be used by numerous programs & games. See what I mean: http://filext.com/detaillist.php?ext...&Submit3=Go%21

In this case here he/she downloaded a CD image used by CDRWin.

There are two solutions as murasame said. If you want to open the file use Daemon, the other solution is to burn the image on a CD.
