Starting Music Help!!

My limewire is up and running fine, and downloads music succesfully but whenever I try to actually play the song it says the file type is not recognised, what should I do!?

We need more info from you...

What file types are you referring to ?
.mp3 or .wma. or what ???

And, what 'player' are you trying to use ?

Computer type and Operating System is also needed !
