HELP: Burning D/L movies to dvd from limewire

I have RealPly, WMP, QuickT, DivXPly, Nero StartSmart, Nero Express, Winamp, PowerDVD, DVD Shrink, WMovieMaker

I know how to download, I know the difference b/t cd and dvd burners. I know how to burn limewire music files to a cd. I can watch d/l movies from lw. I can copy dvds from the originals using dvd shrink and nero startsmart.

But I can't seem to burn d/l movies from lw.

Can someone please tell me is any of this stuff usable. If there is any other free program that I can download and use. If I need to convert my files (and how). Referring me to videohelp doesn't help. So can someone just tell me what they do (Exactly).

I don't know what your problem is. Perhaps your Nero is missing codecs. Visit their website & get updates. Have a look at their section on mpeg2 codecs. For dvd, nero will need to convert avi, etc. to mpeg2 in order to create a dvd watchable on a set-top dvd player. DVD's movies are in mpeg2 format.

I've dragged & dropped avi, avi-divx, mpeg1 & mpeg2 files into Roxio Toast & it's burnt them happily to a dvd.
