cue & bin files are cd image files that can be used by most of the main brand burner apps. These are disk images that are identical to the original. How you load them onto your softw depends on your burner app. Nero & roxio easdy cd & dvd can load these. But if you only have limited edition burner softw you might have difficulty.

bin is also an extension used with (though not needed) linux binary files (e.g. the limewire binary for linux)

Limited intellectually.

I am a new Kubuntu user. I am dual boot with WinXP. I have located the Epson Drivers that are suitable for my Printer. The download is a .bin file. I cannot open .bin files. I tried to find out something about limewire binary but came up empty handed. How do I open .bin files or RPM? I have KDE and Adept, however, after installing what I found and thought appropriate, was unable to find the engine that opened .bin files. Do you know what it would be called, if in fact I have it installed and don't know it? I have tried to find the information for days now and am being driven :tease:with frustration. Can you help? Then, will you help? Thanks!

That .bin file, if it is intended for linux, is probably not an archive that you can
"open" but rather is the driver file ready to install. Go back to where you
downloaded it and find the instructions. If you got the download from Epson,
there should be instructions on the same page.
