Hey i was just wondering if you guys use any of the P2P file sharing systems and if you do what programs do you use to protect against the RIAA?

Well, I'm not a moderator, but I can tell you that most people here in the Gnutella Forums us one of the Gnutella clients (LimeWire happens to be a more popular client). And PeerGuardian is a good program to help monitor which IP's can connect to your computer. Google for it if you want to download it.

re: the use of PeerGuardian...

Beware the probable very high CPU usage that once again seems to be a problem with PeerGuardian !

Users may find that the 'protection' of PeerGuardian is outweighed by the deterioration in overall performance that many may experience.

p.s. I am hardly 'slagging off' the application as I have been recommending it for a long time now...
But, the CPU usage problem is back !!!
