Limewire movie to TV DVD

I'm another older newbie. I know the OSX system fairly well. I'm sure what I need to know is out there somewhere but as I said I'm older and might croak first before I find it. Can I, and how do I, download a movie and burn it ( I have a superdrive) to play on a dvd player?
