avi file to DVD problem
 

First off, I would like to say thanks to everyone here on the forum. You guys are doing a top job and up until now I have managed to find the answers to most of my questions by doing a search. Not so with this one unfortunately. Here's a little background info:

I am running Windows XP on a brand new HP Pavillion that has CD/DVD burner installed. Usually use Nerovision express 2 to burn DVDs. Other files have worked for me after installing additional codecs etc, this time, not so. Downloaded avi file from LW. (approx. 690mb).

File plays on VLC
File plays on Windows media after installing divx3 but wont burn.
(does windows media player only burn to cd? couldn't find dvd option).
File only plays and burns audio on Nerovision express 2. (can't get picture).
and last but not least: File plays on Nero showtime but it plays upside down.

So folks, my question for you - how do I get this file onto a DVD?

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Worked it out by using Intervideo WinDVD creator. (didn't even know I had that one :p )

Would still like to know why Nero showtime is playing it upside down though.
