norton antispam 2005

Hi, I,ve downloaded the trial version and now require a serial if anyone has it for the above.

I purchased a full 2005 security package, complete with anti spam but it has to be installed as a complete package. Has my laptop came complete with a rival anti virus software ,which I do not wish ti uninstall is there anyway I can install just the antispam part of the package - or is there another way around it /

Hmmmm not sure some programs allow you to do a custom or advanced installation for only the items you want. I run NIS 2004

You know what 'thin ice' is ???
You are NOW skating on it !
If you are asking for assistance re: acquiring a bent or illegal password or keygen, you are in the WRONG as far as these Gnutella Forums are concerned. Read the Rules, OK ?

WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost certainly, whatever s'ware came bundled with your machine is not going to be adequate for even minimal protection today ! The best thing you could do for yourself would be to completely remove (correctly) the bundled crap.

Forget about installing any component of the normal bundled garbage !

Install Norton Internet Security (including anti-virus and anti-spam and, and, and, and....)

PAY for it. *
It is one of the only 4 programs about which I would use the big bad 'pay' word !

When you have done that, do the same with Adaware SE and Adwatch SE !!!

Then, DRIVE your machine with no 'auto-pilots' running !
YOU are in charge.

You WILL BE protected.

*A problem with your post is that in one instance it seems that you have paid for an anti-virus, etc., etc. application and in other ways you appear to be asking for a "crack" or 'keygen' for the same app. !!!

If.... IF......... On the other hand, you HAVE purchased the full Norton Internet Security program....

You don't need nuthin' more than Adaware !

Last.... I am sure that I am not the only one here who DOES applaud your efforts to be 'protected'... If you are, it helps all the rest of us, what ???
;)

Norton AntiSpam

If you have purchased Norton Internet Security 2005, as you say, then you are entitled to support from Symantec.

As far as I understand, you are entitled under your licensing agreement to install the AntiSpam portion of NIS2005 on any other computer you own.

Therefore, for support questions you should go back to Symantec or search their knowledge base.

Any other course of action, such as using unapproved serial numbers, could invalidate your license and render your application unusable.

PS. Ursula is quite correct when she says you should install all the product and not portions of it, the internet is so dangerous that you need all the protection you can get. Protection against spam and viruses is not enough, you will need anti-spyware, firewall (which you have as part of NIS), anti-secret installation (Prevx Home V2.0) and possibly an app/port monitor to check which apps are accessing (or secretly trying to access) the internet.

If you "google" "adaware" and "spybot" you should come up with some good results and download sites. Without the quotaion marks of course.
