Burning DVDs
 

When I try to burn a 750 meg CD to a 4 gig DVD it turns into over 4.5 gigs and will not burn. I have a DVD shrink program, but it won't shrink CD videos until after they are converted to DVDs.

What's the answer?

I would go to your software programs website. They probably have a users guide/manual or faq in there support section.

Actually, I got Nero with the burner I bought, and updated it to the current version, then I have downloaded all the plug ins, etc., and when I try to convert a video to DVD it starts working but stops before it completes the job. Have tried it 5 or 6 times and it always stops and closes the converter.

As you probably know, it is almost impossible to contact Nero about any problem. They make it very difficult.

Does anyone know of a Nero forum?

Most video to DVD converters are trial or partial programs and do not do the complete job.

I have Nero, updated to the current version, and have downloaded all the plug ins and converter programs, but when trying to convert a 750 meg .avi file it stops before the job is done and closes the program. It did convert a 35 meg .avi file and I was able to burn it to a DVD, but keeps stopping and closing when I try to convert the larger one.

It shows that it will convert the 750 meg .avi to a 3.8 gig DVD, but quits after about 5 minutes.

Hope someone has an answer for me.

Nero makes it very difficult to correspond with them. Is there a Nero Forum?
