transfering to ipod

i am VERY frustrated!!! got an ipod as a present - now i want music!!! i refuse to pay .99 for a song. please help me transfer. i am using a pc windows 2000 and have an ipod 20m. ps. i am the ultimate computer dummy so please be kind !!! thanks

Hi mommatig check this out: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=32626 there's tutorials by apple about both iPod & iTunes & also an iPod Forum. If you're a windows user you'll find the overall thread rather useful. Also check out the 'manual' updating of iPod (as compared to the default automatic update) I think in lesson 3 or 4 plus 6. :D
