listen to missed radio shows on ipod? Hi, does any one know a way of transferring files in real player to ipod? I hope that makes sense, say if i go to a radio station site where you can save a missed show. So i save it to itunes then try and open it in there but i can't. Does anyone know a way round this? Or understand what i'm saying? :) |
Well, for a start I don't think iPod recognises RealPlayer audio format files (rm.) iTunes doesn't seem to. I think you should try another alternative. See Getting music to iPod & iTunes thread (click on link) I 'suspect' you'll need to convert the files to mp3 or save the files as mp3 for you to get the songs into your iPod. |
That's great, thanks for the link. You've given a lot of your time with this subject i bet its helped many people! I understand now that i must convert the file to mp3. I don't know how to do that but i'm sure if i search around i'll find out Thanks |
I believe within RealPlayer (or the advanced version) you have a choice of format to save the files into. If there's no mp3 then what about wav. Then convert them. But then that would mean a loss of quality converting them to mp3 (they ahve already been compressed to rm.)
