avi playback...help!
 

I've downloaded several versions of "A Very Long Engagement"--Yeah, I'm an Audrey fan, but who isn't?--and non of them seem to work. I ran them through Gspot and downloaded the necessary codecs, tried to convert from Xvid to Divx, downloaded VLC (my primary is WMP v10), and still, no dice. Oh yeah, each file is listed as having 0.00.00 duration time, even though each one is 700+ MB! What's the deal? Why would so many people have whack files??:confused:

Did you go to the DivX site & get the Xvid codec? I'm surprised VLC wouldn't play them. Could be a new format. There was mention of a new format recently but I can't seem to find it.
