problems uploading my itunes files
 

hello folks smarter than i,

i'm trying to make available my extensive itunes mp3 files for uploading, but can't seem to make it come up when i attempt to add a folder.

any ideas?

I'm not smarter, but just share the same folder iTunes uses to store the files.

On OS X, I just use LW's Library File menu to "Add Folder to Share" and add my "iTunes Music" folder.

i found my music folder, but it only has the cd's that i ripped directly into itunes (say, 100 songs or so). using some very cool software, i've been recording streaming internet radio which has put in roughly 1000 songs. they're nowhere on my computer but in itunes.

any ideas?

search your hard drive for the name of one of those files . . . or export it from iTunes to another folder you can see? They must be on the drive somewhere, unless they are in some kind of protected cache that you aren't allowed to copy perhaps.
