Search results not being displayed anymore

I have encountered a new problem. Doing a search brings up a list of files I am currrently searching for. The area which showed search results has totally vanished. Any help appreciated. Never had this problem before.
Thank you

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

Many thanks my Lord. Can I also ask as a new LW user I want to be a responsible sharer. I have put a lot of CD music into my Nero 6 software. I have a large collection of Scots Gaelic music which you can't normally get on P2P. How do I make sure it is accessible to other P2p users.

Go to LW's Library window, then menu bar File>Add Folder to Share & direct it to the folder where your material you want to share is. Then select that folder. It will then appear in the Library window. Any folder that appears in the Library window is being shared (except the incomplete folder unless partial file sharing is turned on.) You may need to press the Refresh button to update the LW share list for the files to be recounted & shared immediately.

Your help appreciated. Shall do that. Im off to Spain for a week in the sunshine so the CD I put on is a group called Cliar. You can test it out and see if it has gone on for people to share.

Got as far as you said. My CD's are in Nero. I typed in Nero but it said not recognised. You must get cheesed off with newbie's like me. Sorry.

I was worried you were going to suggest something like that. No you can't share audio cd's as audio cd's. You'd need to extract them as wav or mp3's or m4a files. And for anything else it's not a good idea to share from a cd, it would be too difficult & inconsistent to read the data like that for an uplder via LW & the via a cd reader/cd program.

OK. Thanks for your help.
