Do MP3 downloads work on CDRW
 

Quick question. No problem listening to downloaded music on my dvd/cd player however on my new Sony diskman which is for CDRW I can't hear any of the music. Is music downloaded from an MP3 source recognized by diskman with CDRW capabilities?Or do I need one with cdrw and mp3? Thanks in advance for your help. Sophie

Hmmmm I'm thinking you need one with both, but if your cd burning application will convert the mp3 to cd audio I would think it should play.

I use Nero ultra and it will convert mp3 to cd audio, which will play on most players that will play cds. I have burned several disks in mp3 format that would not play on other players, but when burning the mp3 in cd audio format they worked in the other players.

I would also suggest you read your user manual and see what type of formats your sony diskman will play.
