Easy question (Please Answer)

Once your search is completed for downloading program, somes users use the term (crack or cracked), what does that mean? ie. [Edit] (crack or cracked)

They are stating that the application has, included with the basic files, a so-called 'crack'...

Cracks are meant to attempt to defeat copyright protection methods used by the software makers to prevent people from sharing, i.e. stealing, their products.

Have a look around these forums and you will find many posts on this subject.

BEWARE of many, many of the cracks and supposed 'key generators' thast are floating around out there !!!
Many are in fact 'dialer' applets, at the least, that will cause you problems...

Large problems.

p.s. Your post was edited because you mentioned a specific name of an application.

the companies are just asking to have there software pirated when they want "onley 39.95" for a game the same calaber as pac man or tetris. ripping people off is just as bad as "stealing". allsow stealing and copying are compleatley differant, cars, VCRs and food etc can be stolen. music ,video , software, photos and text can all be copied an unlimated number of times and nobody loses anything. people being greedy and stingey are whats making the world go down the crapper. if you do dl any programs or zip, rar ,exe or whatever be verry carful of what it is ,eg pay close atention to file size, name and the extention and SCAN EVERYTHING YOU DOWNLOAD with a good antivirus scanner befor opening it.
