I need help, I saved my playlist a few days ago and now I can't open it. I've been going into library and clicking on open. I've tried both double clicking on the file, and hilighting the file and clicking on select but nothing happens.

A playlist is simply a reference file with a list of songs on it that point to the locations of the songs. If you move or delete the songs after you created the playlist, the playlist will no longer work.
