I downloaded a file (movie) and can't get it to play
 
I downloaded [EDIT] the movie. full movie (DVD QUALITY) not tmd i work at the theater so this is real good connected straight to the projector great sound too no mistakes real nice.avi which is supposed to be able to be played on Ultrplayer but when I play it it doesn't show any video and you can't hear any sound - yet you can see it play (the minutes counter) - I have tried everything I can think of but nothing has worked - any suggestions? Please help me?!!??:rolleyes: :confused:

Get GSpot and open your file in it..GSpot will tell you what codec you will need to play it :)

Alternatively, you could try VLC player, it plays most things.
