help me from the beginning

I'd like to download Norton Antivirus 2005 to use, but I'm not sure where to start. I actually downloaded, now what? I'm not sure about extracting files and all of that. Simply, I'm a moron when it comes to this type of stuff. Speak slowly to me. Help! Anything at this point would be a huge help.

Why would you want to download any antivirus from P2P with the risk of downloading and installing nasty extra's....

There are good free antivirus programmes like

Avast or AVG

RaaF, he never used the acronym P2P nor did he tell where he downloaded it from. ;)
