newbie with problems
 

I purchased limewire pro and am having problems. How do I get the limewire media player to work? When I download a dvd movie, the speed is between 1kb and 3 kb. How can I speed it up? I have dsl and windows xp and sp2
and sygate personal firewall. After I have finished a download, when I click on "launch", sometimes it launches but more often it doesn't launch. What should I do? Can someone please help me.

you can't speed up p2p.
p2p depends on people who are uploading to you. a normal broadband user gets 50-70k and that's normally hogged up by people on the network..


i get 300-500kb/sec, easily.

not on gnutella
not on limewire
not on winmx
not on anything but IRC.
