user guide needed for downloads

sorry but i recognise some file names but not others, i am unsure
do i download to disc and attempt to play (programs) or unzip to computer and copy to cd to play..
what are the other files rip ect.... and how does one convert/use on a pc (xp prof).
sorry its prob so easy to you but we have to start somewhere.;)

Hi papagray. There is a huge archive of posts here and if you use the search botton above right you can seach the archives.

The user guide and faq on the Limewire site is pretty good, (possibly slightly out of date) http://www.limewire.com/english/content/support.shtml

And at the top of each forum there are the forum rules which are more like helpful suggestions, and below them there are stickies which are considered to be the most helpful previous posts.

Have a good look throught them and then give us a question one at a time if you need to since our little minds can't take too much at once :D
