vcd with no sound I downloaded a movie in .avi format. It works perfect on my puter, video and audio. I ran it through TMPGEnc, burnt it on vcd using Nero 6 ultra edition and when i play it in my standalone dvd player it has great video but no audio. I ran it in AVIcodec and it says audio codec name, Mpeg-1 audio layer 2 (0xc0). As you can tell I'm very new at this and if anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. |
I think you'll find there's an audio option for output using TMPGEnc. & you've probably missed the option (check your options/preferences.) You could also encode & burn using Nero instead. |
Thnx I'm gonna check it out |
I checked and don't have the output audio option in TMPGEnc. when i load the movie in TMPGEnc it gives me a video source but it does not give me an audio source so i have no audio options. I tried to encode and burn with nero and again, video and no sound. |
Sounds like the encoders are unable to deciphor the audio. Must be a strange setting/not the norm. Ask about it on the forum joining onto this site: http://www.videohelp.com/ |
thnx again. I feel really stupid right now. I opened TMPGEnc again and closed out the wizard that opens with it and now i see where i can set the video and audio output, i think it says stream type, do you know which one i need to choose? i'm sorry to bother u with this but i really appreciate your patience. |
