I'm trying to make skins for LimeWire. I've figured out how to do them but the only thing that's stopping me is when I change some of the icons(stars for example). Everytime I put a different icon in there's always a white background behind it. How do I get rid of this background?

Do a forum search for skins & send a pm to those who have created their own skins. Apparently someone has also offered a special softw to help create skins.

No but I sure would like to know how to view them after downloading!

How did you download the skin? If it was through LimeWire, go into View>Apply Skins>Refresh Skins then go into Apply Skins again and you will see the new skin in the list.

I downloaded thru my browser and moved the files to limewire folder . The files are there but when I refresh they still dont show up. I am totally at a lost what to do now.

Try downloading it through LimeWire. The folder will go where its suppose to go.

Thanx...I'll try that but the folder is already in the right place . I think I got a bug somewhere.

Thanx again.It worked. I figured out why the others wont work. When you download thru browser the .ltwp files aren't in the folder. At least I got one new skin. Wo0t! Hope you figure out your problem. Have a great day!
