You can associate your music files with any player, I use QCD and do it like this..

In explorer, navigate to one of your files and right click it.
It will then give you the choice to 'Open With', click that option.

Now you will be given a list of all the programs that are on your PC. Select the player of your choice and tick the box to 'always open files of this kind with this application' (or words to that effect).

You can tick the box in LW to play songs in there, but you have to change the option and then close and relaunch LW for the changes to take efffect.

'Open With' works with any file, I did it with graphics files, making them open in my browser so that another application doesn't need to be launched ;)

Just a curious note to ask why you want to play files hrough Limewire as the Limewire player is not exactly the best around? :)

Then you'll need to make the LW media player the one to play your music when you launch it thru LW. Go to LW's menu>Tools>Options>Player & tick the player option. This won't take effect until next time you open LW. You can also create playlists within iTunes & save them as m3u files & then open those files using LW's media player playlist options. ;)
