Limewire wont play file.
 

When im DLing a file and go to either preview or launch it it plays for about a second then stops. I have DL about 15 different files and none of them has worked. Thanks in advanced for your help. (Limewire doesnt do anything out of the ordinary like reboot my computer or freeze it just wont play the file.)

It's either for 2 reasons I can think of. 1. LW's media player is struggling with playing because your LW is too busy using most of its resources for other things. or 2. The files you downlded are corrupt. See T3 Spammers; mp3 Bit-Rates Versus File Sizes

I would recommend you use a different player. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Player & untick option. This won't take effect until next time you open LW. But after that, next time you launch or preview a song, it will play with your default audio player. If you don't have a decent player, I would recommend one of these: 1. dBpowerAMP, - 2. WinAmp, - 3. Quintessential (QCD), - 4. iTunes
