Somebody please help, i'm fairly new to all this but every time i download a film i cannot burn it to disc because the file is to long for the disc. Any clues????

Which burner program are you using? Nero & Roxio will both squish the video to fit if you're burning dvd's. For nero I think it's nero burning rom that does the job.

If you're burning vcd's then that's a different matter. 70-80 mins is the maximum you'll fit. So you'd need to split it onto more than one cd if it goes for longer.

Thank you, i'm using Nero 6 and i can copy dvd's but i'm having trouble with a DVDRip divx 227 video clip file. If i do need to spilt this do a need a seperate Window movie joiner type programme???
