M3u File format?
 

Dear all,

I have joined LIMEWIRE, and downloaded a MPEG format FILE song. When i downloeded it to my machine, the FORMAT was M3u?

Please can someone tell me if this is right?
also i am trying to transfer the file to my MPEG player which is

GOODMANS GMP310 which is a MPEG/WMA player.

How can i listern to my songs?

Default location for your downlds folder is: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

Get to it quick & easily: Go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you.

That's where your video & audio files will be. For playlists, m3u is a playlist format file (contains no music, simply references to where the music can be found for the player to understand.) m3u files are fine so long as you don't move or delete any of the files after creating the playlist otherwise the m3u playlist won't work. If you like playlists, then move the songs to your music folder before creating a playlist from them.
