Tips on Safely downloading mp3 music
 

Hi,
Could someone please let me know some tips on how to safely download mp3 music. I have antivirus, spyware, and adware programs on my pc. Any insight would be appreciative.

Here's a couple:

1. Stay away from wma files: What you should know about WMA/WMV Files

2. T3 Spammers; mp3 Bit-Rates Versus File Sizes & also Most Popular Songs R' Corrupt which shows the type of tool they use to discourage people sharing & downlding popular songs.

3. Most audio files are over 2 MB in size so ignore anything less than 1 MB. See autogenerated mp3 spam results Don't get confused between KB & MB. As soon as search results start coming in, double-click the top of the size column so this arranges the largest at the top.

4. Semi related to #3 above is this WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of! So again, keep to file sizes above 2 MB.

Awesome, thanks for the info, very valuable tips.

I was just reading some of your tips, and I came across downloading the popular songs section.

So, does that mean that we can still download popular songs, but don't use a T3 connection, use other connections.

Also, is it better when searching for a song, to type the song title followed by .mp3 rather than just typing the song title. I guess this allows you to get the results you want.

Does Limewire has a filter system?
