Getting songs from computer onto limewire.

Hi,
I'm not having a problem but i was intrested in knowing if you can put computer files onto limewire. I play guitar, and i made 2 mp3 files of myself, saved them on the computer and i want to get them on limewire. Is that possible or not? PLEASE TELL ME IT IS!!!

Of course you can ... This really is the reason Limewire exists! Just put the files you want to share into a folder. Go to Limewire options or preferences > shaing > share folder, and choose add > browse for the folder and add it.

alternatively copy the files to the share folder that is already specified.

You may want to alter the titles of the files which you can do in the Limewire library. This sometimes doesn't work and if you have problems let us know.

WARNING DO NOT EVER USE THE DELETE FEATURE IN THE LIMEWIRE LIBRARY on saved files they will be erased from your hard drive instantly!

Let us know the titles. I'd like to hear them:)

It didn't work

Thanks for replying and i'd love to say it worked, but it still won't let me do it. I went on Tools>Options>Sharing and then tried to add my 2 files of me playing  the guitar (to metallica just so ya know) but they weren't in my documents where i saved them. They have always been there and i can still play it on window media player. annoying! PLEASE help me.

When you add files in the shared folder, press the Refresh button so that the new files show up in the LW library pane. (the Refesh button is also in the Library pane)

I'm not familiar with wmp, but can you not find the location of a file you play in wmp? In itunes for example you can select "show song file" and it will show you where it is, or select get info and it will show you the location <slightly confused> I am wondering if you have moved the files alredy????
