tex | March 21st, 2006 07:35 PM | playing burned CD's I can't play CD's burned from Limewire downloads on my older CD player, i.e., not MP3. What must I do? |
Peerless | March 21st, 2006 08:14 PM | obviously, use your burning software to make an audio CD |
tex | March 21st, 2006 08:17 PM | I did, but it won't play on my CD player |
agnew | March 22nd, 2006 05:04 AM | Many older & quite a few new CD players won't recognise or play burnt cd/cdr/cdrw, even if "finalised". Seems the cheaper the better rules if U want to play home made discs :( |
pudscat | March 22nd, 2006 05:14 AM | make sure you convert the mp3 to normal audio cd. my kenwood car cd player will not play copied disks but my cheap dvd player plays any thing. |
Peerless | March 22nd, 2006 04:59 PM | Quote: Originally posted by tex I did, but it won't play on my CD player | welp, sorry for the misunderstanding...yur original post gave the impression that you were dealing with mp3s (note your statement '....i.e., not MP3')...the other posts make good points, and the concept of not being able to play a CD-R(w) is probably the winner |
pudscat | March 23rd, 2006 02:58 AM | i think some makers of cd players just dont like you playing copied discs on there products. |
