How to change downloaded file format??
 

:confused: :confused: :confused: Can anyone help me here? Im using windows XP home and have a problem with some downloaded files. The problem is that these files show up as .bin format but are actually divx or avi. this is causing some problems as when I try to burn them they take 8 times longer(min) one took 12 hrs to burn a 2hr media. I have tried to change the file association however it only lets me change the file to open these type of files which is pointless as the will play in showtime anyway. Can anyone tell me how to change the individual file type from .bin to .avi ect. I seem to remember this was as easy as changing the name in previous versions of windows, im VERY confused HELP!!!..............Please.

Id like to seed these files across the network as the are all latest releases not availible yet on limewire but dont want to dissapoint with them, help me sort this out guys. Thanks.
