DVD burner problem When i go to burn a movie from limewire onto a blank DVD-RW using Nero, (the movie is Old School) a message pops up that says due to patent license restrictions MPEG-4 is not available, it then asks me if I want to buy an upgrade online now. Can I just not burn movies that are mpeg format? |
What version Nero do you have ? |
I have the one that came with my LG DVD burner, it just says Nero Start Smart. |
That will probably not be the full program. Nero7 by itself costs about 50-60$ You will probably have to upgrade Or use some other converter |
What other converters would you recomend? |
I have heard good things about this one. Haven't tried it myself yet. Use Nero7 mostly or other paid for programs. http://www.erightsoft.net/Superdc.html |
nero 7 is great it takes a bit of practice using it but i find it's the best and the menu options are great [although it is a bit slow]. |
Why dont you try divxtodvd, i had problems with nero, i had same problems as yourself! to be honest i think its the make of your burner, nero is very fussy as to which burner you can burn with! i decided to ditch Nero altogether and now iam using divxtodvd which is an excellent program for converting files it recognises the media you have inserted and converts to fit onto the media you are using whether it be 1 or 2 movies!! need info on how to get it pm me! |
