questions: do limewire downloads get registered to anyone?
 

can someone tell me do limewire downloads get registered to anyone i e police or other authorities ive afriend term used loosely at the moment who as borrowed my pc and downloaded things that im worried about i need to know if this shud be reported because its my pc and i dont want to be blamed for this any help would be appreciated



also could someone on here please tell me how i am able to download mov and avi downloads i must ave to download something to get this

Well....."No" would be the answer to your staright question. There is no direct link connection between LW(Gnutella) and any law enforcement agency.
However, any activity involving your computer(+internet connection) will be recorded and stored for a certain period of time with your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Those datas could be, theoretically, obtained by the police or by any other law enforcement agency.;)
To ease your concerns a little bit, I've been using some P2P clients for quite some time and yet no SWAT Team has arrived in front of my door.....:D
