sharing person to person only
 

I've looked for the answer to this question and haven't found it so.....
is it possible to share FLAC files with selected people via Limewire> In other words, can I organize and share files with certain people, blocking all others etc....? I'm trying to see if there's a way to "send" files via Limewire.

Also, is Limewire mostly MP3? or are there FLAC/SHN/APE files as well.

There are "some" of the lossless audio files on the Gnutella network but not a great many. Also apple lossless which are m4a files larger than 320 kbps but you'd need iTunes I guess to make the most of them.

The best way to send files directly to others is via magnet links. 2nd best way is direct connecting. For direct connecting, you both MUST have your firewalls properly configured or else you won't connect. Also you both need to have available bandwidth & slots for upld & downld.
