Avi file?
 

Hi everyone im a newbie as you can all see and i'm trying to open avi files , but they don't open...( what is an avi fileÇ?) why can't i open it? Please help!! :o

Your best bet may be to get the vlc player... at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Other players need codecs and vlc has them bult in If VLC fails to open a file, it may well be a faulty file.

avi is just one of the most popular video file typs ..(without getting all technical LOL)
