Unwanted links...(ex: Wicked Remix, Totally Hip Track)
 

Hi!

Can anybody tell me if there is any way to get rid of those enormously anoying links that come up whenever I do a search on LimeWire?

I f I see another, Wicked Remix, or Steven Speiberg Gets A...or Totally Hip Track...I'm gonna jumps of a bridge.

I've had the same problem. two things:

1. go to tools -> options->filters->keywords and add these entries:

!!!
...
:)
getlaidquickly
/
\
totally hip
top of charts
eighties classic
rare recording
can you afford
steven spielberg

and more as those fake files keep coming from who knows where

2. if any do slip by and don't contain obvious keywords or phrases you can filter then be sure to mark these as junk.

3. help everyone by contributing your knowledge at resources like p2p forums and bitzi.com

Start by learning how the keyword filter works.

E.g. to filter totally hip track, just add totally

Those keyphrases will filter 80% of the legit files as well.
