Looks like you're looking for free advertising here; aka "spam".

Who the heck would want to convert from mp4 to mp3?

1. mp4 is a better format.

2. converting to mp3 or mp3 to mp4 will result in loss of sound quality. Both mp3 & mp4 or "lossy" sound formats which means they throw away audio information to help them convert/save.

3. We don't need people reconverting mp3 or mp4 & polluting the network with them out of pure ignorance.

4. That program costs US $25 yet, programs like iTunes & WinAmp & a few others can do it for FREE!!! No need for your trialware version either. There's lots of FREEWARE out there than can do exactly the same thing as 'your' program.

Well dik hed, none of those are FREE!!!. Why didn't you simply give a link to a free one. iTunes is free. But those ones you listed cost between US $25-45. Obviously you like the other Chinese character are "only" interested in money. And you obviously have money interests in this. For this reason any future link I see for similar software that isn't truelly free & is trialware will be removed as I will do to yours in a moment.

You claim they are free so in other words you are deliberately trying to decieve our members. You're a cheat, a liar, a deceiver ...
pay the price azz-hole!

I do not speak about free advertising. You have just raised a question, and I just answer.

I need to convert from mp4 to mp3. I have come here especially for this through the search link. The place seemed to be appropriate. There may be thousands of reasons for that. My reason is that different devices play different formats.

It depends on what matters. The well-known marketing trick is that people usually percept the greater number in the product name as a sign of better quality, which is not always true. Anyway, both are proprietary formats, owned by different companies.

Generally speaking, yes. The question is to make the losses as small as possible. Generally speaking. But if You have records of 1930's You may want to try additional filtering.

What it is about? About Your needs or about helping people to solve their problems?
Peoples' ignorance is definetely not an argument. Newcomers do not deserve disdain just for being inexperienced.

As it has been mentioned above, the question is to find the best option. Price is one criterion for "better", quality is another, convenience of use is the third, performance, flexibility, ... I've tried WinAmp and I'm still looking for a better option.

Yes to spam your product. There were around 8-9 identical posts which is spamming. Double-posting is against the forum rules. Advertising is against the forum rules.

As stated, we don't want them polluting the network. Original rips is what's wanted. As is often the case, there are free products out there which are often better & better than someone trying to make a quick buck. As stated, this is NOT the place to advertise your product. If you have produced a product then advertise it elsewhere.

You simply came here to plug your product which you either produced yourself or are marketing on behalf of the producer. And got annoyed because your post was edited & the other identical posts deleted. So you came back here to flame. You had come here some time back under another username, originally some months back & returned to post again & then returned to post again the exact identical postings. And despite your visits to this forum, you still don't even understand what Gnutella is or what it's about. Your ignorance is ...

And you didn't bother to answer the point about deliberately trying to deceive our members by telling them it's a free product when it is not. We don't need deceivers on our forum thank you. Keep your business practices in Russia or China or wherever you come from. We're not interested in your deceptive approach or persona.

In summary, we don't want your product here or your pointless arguments. If people really need such a product then they can search for the free ones & if they find a commercial one that is better then they can consider purchasing it. (I certainly already know of free ones. Do you.)
