Webroot window washer 6.
 

:confused: I have this program to wash my hard drive is it as good as it says it is ?
If I wash my hard drive with bleach is that information totally unrecoverable and if not are there other programs I can download that are better than webroot windows washer 6. ***edited...discussions of piratical activites are verboten here***
So will windows washer do the job or should I be using something better?

Which method is '' Bleaching'', as far as i know the two most effective file deletion methods are, the secure delete DOD 5220.22 MOD ''Strength'' type, or the almost invincible GUTMANN method, both use far more complex methods than just typing a row of XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 's over the Data, and this type of deletion is very effective, rest assured if someone REALLY REALLY REALLY wants your data(Unlikely, unless your a terrorist) there may be methods out there, but for most people above methods are VERY good. hope this helps.

PS It also depends on the amount of times you overwrite your data, if you only overwrite once with a good method, it wouldn't be as good as overwriting 100 times with a simple method, there are far better informed folks on this forum if your lucky you might get more replies.
