Virus File/Trojan warning

*******************

I can't do anything with this file, except copy it, it wont delete, and the media player doesnt recognize it as a playable movie file. It says another program/location is useing this file, but my task manager shows nothing is useing it, I tried to delete it right after a reboot, when nothing was running, and no internet connection. I don't know why the file acts this way, but even as admin on my PC I don't have permission to delete it.

Try one of the tools here. I've used both the Unlocker & DelinvFile (ask Leo link) & they've worked well.

Always check a movie file with Bitzi before download
How to use Bitzi

In Bitzi that particular file is named "Deliberately corrupted to cause crashes.avi"
which would have been all the warning you needed to avoid it.
