opening ******* zip download
 

hi,

i'm a new user. windows vista.

i downloaded ****** in a zip file. i see it under documents in the saved file. i've used winrar to unzip music files before so i downloaded it and clicked "extract here" (because that's how it worked with music stuff). but i can't figure out how to get ****** going. all i really want is ****** actually so any help opening that.

**i actually did 2 downloads from limewire because the 1st (labeled ******) said it was incomplete. but i think i might have accidentally downloaded ****** becuase now it appears in my start menu and i could open ******. but i don't want the 07 version & plan to delete it if i can get the earlier version going. i hope this doesn't complicate things.

Did the answer have anything to do with .iso files ?

honestly i don't know how i did it.

the first one (that i think somehow installed 07) was an iso. but the 2nd one was zip.

i used winrar to "extract" (several times, trying to put it in various folders). then i had no idea how to open it. after hours of clicking various things i hit on something that asked me if i wanted to install**, i said yes, it asked me for the product key (which was one of the unzipped files, clearly labeled) i filled that in & off it went.

**it might have been something like "AUTORUN" but i'm not sure.

sorry, i can't be more help. i can't even believe i managed to do it.

Soo you downloaded a Blank Item.It might of had a virus in the folder make sure you check for any Virus or worm on your pc.
