Don't use Vista? http://www3.telus.net/Aaron_Walkhouse/tongue3.gif

Not knowing which program or what the symptoms are makes it impossible to guess.

in order to get limewire to work with vista, you must uninstall limewire - shut off all firewalls - then reinstall limewire... same goes with alot of downloads with vista

sorry to be so un-specific, its Dance Ejay 7.

Either the program just crashes before reaching the title screen or I get ASPI driver error messages then it crashes.

I've tried EVERYTHING to get this game to work, just not going to happen. Was thinking of loading XP to my PC so I could run both at the same time, seems a lot of effort for just a game and will prob slow my computer right down

It says here that they're still working on Vista compatibility.

I saw a mention of ASPI driver issues too. They suggest you make sure you select
to install ASPI support when you install Dance. Maybe you'll get lucky and that will
do some good.

That's the number one problem with Vista right now. It breaks a lot of software
that worked fine before and driver support is still way behind because MS is trying
to force everyone to sign up with their exclusive program, which apparently costs
thousands of dollars as well as adding months of delays to development. That's
even more expensive when you have people on the payroll.

If you can, I suggest you stick with XP for at least another year.
Vista's not ready for the pros yet. :p

I think your right, I've been to that link before in my search for answers.

whats your thoughts on running Vista and XP simultaniously? big slowdown?

I like the slickness of vista, but thats about it!- like a ferrari with a go kart engine in it!

So far I see no benefit in Vista and several drawbacks.
