Hi All
Not sure I've posted this in the right place so if the mods feel the need to move it then fine... I have recently set up Limewire and have had some fun downloading a few tunes. Now then I have also installed Nero so that I can burn some of my faves to an audio cd for my in car stereo. But problems: When I burned my first cd, not all of the tracks I have burned (from MP3 to cd audio) get recognised In fact, on one cd audio player I stuck it in, the player either failed to read the disc at all or.... gave a reading of the number of tracks on the CD but then failed to play any of them. Que pasa![]() ![]() ![]() Any help appreciated! Best Dave |

Hi...
Starting with the basic questions... What type of CDs are you using ? If they are RW that could be the problem as there are very few car-type players that will play CD-RWs. Perhaps for later, a suggestion that may or may not appeal to you... Try > CDex 1.51 for converting your .mp3s to .wav and then burning the .wav files to a CD. Yes, this would be better discussed in the Tips & Tricks forum, sooooo...

Sometimes slowing the burn rate helps.
I discovered that when burning some of those black disks. Also, make sure Nero is set to produce a music CD and not a data disk with music on it. Some newer players can read music from data disks, which is great because disks stuffed with MP3s can play for hours, but older players are stuck with the original "Red Book" format. |

Forgot to say -
... and, be sure to confirm that the 'burn' will be "Closed" or "Finalised". Never "Multi Session".
