 By 'pictures' I assume you mean 'still images', yes ? The problem is that somehow someone has altered the default application for your particular type of image file. Next time you wish to view an image, Right-Click on the file... ONCE... and select the option> Open With... Then select the program you wish to use... Be very careful with the CheckBox that says, "Always use this... blah blah". Meaning, use it 'wisely' to avoid such things happening again !  btw, as this has absolutely nothing to do with Limewire, you're going someplace where you'll get far more responses !!!
