Transferring from Windows to Limewire

Hello All,

About a month ago I acidentally hit restore defaults and as a result lost all my music, I have since come to terms with that b/c I still have it on my Windows Media with the exception of about 75 songs, I prefer to listen to my music in Limewire and want to be able to share what I have, I have searched high and low although I am only coming across answers on how to transfer from Limewire to Windows Media, does anyone know how to do the opposite and transfer music from Windows Media to Limewire?

Hi Tasha,
Your files are still on your HDD. If using XP click Start > Search > All Files/Folders > Type in any file that you know you have and hit Search.
This will give you the path that you need to put the Saved/Shared folder back into your LW Library.
To do this go to Tools > Options > Saving.
Hope this Helps. :)
