Lost My Files

Hello, I'm a complete noob when it comes to anything remotely technical so I'm sorry if the explanation of my problem seems limited.
I have resently been offered some form of update (I'm not really sure what it was) in which I'm fairly sure I was offered to re-allocate my shared/saved files or something like that.
Anyway, I just kept clicking 'next' until I hit finish and then fired up limewire.
The problem is that now when I look in my limewire I have no files and not even a windows 'search' can find them for me.
I can still play my audio tracks in itunes but I have no idea where I can locate them.
Any help will be appreciated.
