Monitoring your downloads

johnop2p

It is possible for your ISP to monitor your downloads, especially if you live in Europe where it is a legal requirement for ISPs to log, and keep for 12 months, all your electronic communications.

However, it is difficult, but not impossible, to monitor P2P downloads because most of them are coming from multiple sources which are then assembled inside your PC by your P2P app.

Browser downloads are easier to monitor because their downloads are usually from a single source.
